Once base tune is sent (remote customers) then there will be no refunds. The tune begins with the base tune.
In the event tuning can't be completed in a timely manner (generally 4 hours for a single map tune or 6-8 hours for a dual) due to mechanical/electrical issues beyond our control, then additional fees may be incurred (generally $100/hour).
The car must have a pre-tune inspection before tuning. This includes a compression test, boost leak and exhaust leak tests. This should insure the best tuning experience, save time and avoid extra fees.
No shows or missed appointments may incur an additional fee. Time is money and time is irreplaceable. Please respect the appointed time.
No ride-alongs or hanging out. This is a tough one for me, because it's not you. I love to talk and can get sidetracked easily answering questions and shooting the breeze. Every time I had a ride-along a 4 hour tune turns into an 8 hour tune and I often need to stop talking in order to concentrate.
Due to the nature of modifying vehicles, racing, tuning, testing, diagnostics, etc. we are not responsible for mechanical, electrical, etc. failures or damage.
Tuning will most likely will void manufacturer's warranty (or other warranties related to the drive-train) and fail emissions testing. Regardless if the tune makes your car safer and/or cleaner, eg., running an aftermarket intake and exhaust is allowed by a lot of manufacturer's and the drive-train warranty will still be intact. However, without tuning with those modifications the AFR/fuel will likely be leaner and most likely cause detonation. Over time this will damage the motor. Tuning will most likely cause emissions testing to fail. Regardless if the tune makes the emissions cleaner it will fail due to the software being modified. Eg. if the tune is completely stock besides the rev limit is reduced by any RPM including 1 RPM it will fail at emissions where they check for software modifications. This has been an issue for over 10 years and is widely known across states that require emissions testing. If your emissions/smog test is only taking readings from the tailpipe to test real world emissions then there is a good chance you'll pass emissions just so long as all your emissions equipment is in place and in good working order. Most emissions places that check the software do not take into consideration your car is running cleaner, better, etc than with the stock tune.
In case of mother nature or circumstances beyond our control, we are not responsible for failures or damage. Your insurance should cover these occurrences. We will do our best to help with the insurance process, but it's your responsibility. Your deductible is your responsibility.
Accidents, whether traffic or parked outside, need to go through the legal course. eg. your vehicle is hit while parked, then the other driver's insurance is most likely liable as it would be shown on the police report. Whatever course that takes is between you and the other driver/insurance. Of course if they hit and run then your insurance should handle it. We will do our best to help you with your insurance, but it's your responsibility.
